BUYING INFORMATION

Locations

Sterling Accents sells our jewellery, tiaras and veils by appointment in our Kitchener Ontario shop and via the Internet. In both cases, we offer safe, secure credit card transactions through major Canadian banks in our store location, or through the PayPal e-commerce gateway for online transactions.

Taxes

We are required to charge the following taxes on our sales: Canadian GST (5%) and Ontario PST for customers in Ontario (8%). These taxes will be added to the listed price of the items at time of check out. Additional shipping charges may also apply for online sales, depending on how a customer requests their items delivered.

Buying Online

We've made our online buying process a simple, three step process. First, select items you'd like and add them to our online shopping cart by clicking the appropriate link. Second, confirm your items and proceed to checkout (or click the "Continue Shopping" button to return to our store and select additional items). Third, complete payment on our secure PayPal e-commerce page using any major credit card; you will then be redirected back to our order confirmation page.

Sterling Accents will then contact you via phone or email to confirm your order and discuss any special requests you might have.

Shipping Times and Rates

We will ship your order by Express Post within 3-4 weeks(sooner if possible). If this is a rush order please let us know. We make every effort to complete our orders and ship them as quickly as possible.

Shipping and handling fees are as follows:

  • $0 - $150.00 ... $15.00
  • $150.01 - $350.00 ... $25.00
  • Over $350.00 ... free shipping

Returns

We will gladly refund your money for any item you are not happy with. Please include a note stating the reason for the return. The item MUST be returned to Sterling Accents within 14 days of shipping date. Items received after the 14 days will be subject to a 50 percent restocking fee. ALL ITEMS MUST be returned UNUSED and in the ORIGINAL Condition and Packaging. Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Please remember that slight imperfections resulting from the use of natural stones and freshwater pearls cannot be helped and only enhance the beauty of the piece.

Other Information

  • Custom sizing available for necklace and bracelets, a small fee of $5.00 per item will apply.
  • Buy 4 or more sets and receive a 10 percent discount.
  • Tiaras being sent back for rework: Out of town requests will be subject to the return postage fee only.
